Okay so I'm at my grandparent's house for a week.. or have been anyway. They have waterfront property and sometimes geese come and sit on their beach and poop and stuff, and they don't like it. So I like to shoot at them with a slingshot. It doesn't hurt them, just gets them off the beach.

Anyhow, the other day was one of those days. I ran outside, grabbing the slingshot on the way, and I grabbed a fairly large pebble off the ground. I then proceeded to shoot the slingshot. However, my hand slipped at the last second and my thumb was suddenly struck with hurtling rock, putting a pretty good dent in my ring and bruising my poor thumb. So now I have a bruise for a thumb. And I can't even wear my ring on it now because it hurts.

In other news, have you ever noticed when cartoons are eating something that is a liquid of sorts, it always splashes out of their mouth but never makes a mess? That is because the droplets disappear before hitting anything. Now here's the most important question: Where does it go? Does anybody know? Is it one of those questions whose answers we only learn after death? I will not rest until my quest for knowledge is complete.

I really hate it when commercials are really really long. Don't you? I mean, it makes people want to watch your channel less, especially when they're the same commercials over and over.

In the meantime, I will tell you about a conspiracy theory I heard from this lady here. She's super neato-mosquito, and likes to laugh about dead babies as much as I do.

Oh, commercial's over. I guess I'll tell you later.

You know, it's really hard to write about wonderful adventures when you sit on your butt doing nothing (AKA drawing, reading, and knitting a scarf) all day.

Knitting. What an adventure.

I'd elaborate, but I have to go free my grandmother's cat from the yarn.

Upon tasting sushi for the first time, I have concluded that people only say they like it is because the word "sushi" is too excellent to resist. I mean really.
"Hey guys, wanna get some sushi?"
"Yeah, sure, sushi is great!"
"Yeah I love sushi!"
I don't mind the whole raw fish deal, in fact, I quite liked the way sushi felt clean and healthy. I just don't understand why people like eating rubbery, green/black plants from the bottom of the sea. Gross. But on the bright side, I got tea in a little cup.

It glows with the light of past lovers..
Have you ever tried a brand-name diet? It only allows you to eat and drink brand-name food and beverage or brand-name equivalents. For example, you can eat Cheerios because you can refer to them as "Cheerios" and not "breakfast cereal made of corn and wheat that are in the shape of O's" and people will know what you're talking about. You can't, however, eat cookies other than Oreo, Chips Ahoy, etc. A little confusing, but easy enough to remember.

But really, vampires don't eat food, so I guess none of that really matters.

So, I've recently taken it upon meself to learn some songs from the Pirates soundtrack. Yes, I am obsessed. At least I'm not obsessed with Orlando Bloom. Sheesh. Girly man. However, listening to the commentaries (which Orlando in fact did not take part in) I have decided he is infinitely more interesting than Johnny Depp, whose commentary was not very interesting indeed. I listened to it anyway, because I did not want to go to sleep, but man. I learned a lot about movie-making and being an actor and where everything all fits together though, which was the main focus of studying this movie.

Anyhow. Yes, well I've taken it upon meself to learn some of the songs. There are a lot of chords and whatnot, but I'm starting to get the hang of it. I only have the first page of one song, however, so there is a lot of learning by ear. Sigh.

On another note (haha), I recently got some clay and some better paints, and I've started to make some little sculpture things. They're pretty bad so far, actually. I guess to my standards they're bad, but I'm trying to go for a Blackmago type feel. I'll get there eventually, but so far I've really only made my beatnik apple. The beret was hard, but maybe I'll post a picture eventually.

And that's all, really.
