I don't like to post too much is case somebody related to a situation stumbles upon it and reads it. Therefore making things vague is difficult at times.

Plus, blogging about how you like a member of the opposite (or preferred) sex is just so cliché and probably unnecessary. Plus, what if they happen to find it? That could make things a little weird, depending on if they like you back or not.

So I won't.

Although I do want to say... I know a guy, and almost every girl I know (that is age-appropriate) has liked him at one point, to the point where one said she wanted to snack on his facial bone structure. I think she was partially joking.

It's pretty awesome listening to music. I haven't listened to "rock" music in a while, to tell you the truth. Everybody is asking me if I have heard the latest pop song (I still have not heard "sexy back") and I'm all.. no. And then they say "well if you heard it then you probably would recognize it." And the funny part is... I honestly wouldn't. What music have I been listening to? I don't know. Everything really, from Radiohead to Bob Dylan to The King's Singers. There was a point there when I only listened to High School Musical... at least it grew on me.

The casting of High School Musical surprised me a lot actually. Almost everybody who I had pegged down for a part got something completely different.

One girl, Michelle, everybody thought she would get the lead. She's a big sweetie, looks the part, fits the part, etc.. and she's in grade 12. But she ended up getting chorus, not even a role. I felt so bad for her, it was pretty much heartbreaking, but then one of my best friends got the lead and so I am really on the fence about that casting decision. They would both be good at the part, and even though Julia would have two more years at a shot at a lead, it would be her only chance at High School Musical (god she loves it so much, I don't understand it). It is Michelle's last chance at a lead. So I don't know.

Then a lot of the rest of the casting surprised me a bit too. I honestly thought that the part of Ryan would be double-casted with Ian and Keir but it wasn't, which doesn't bother me. I just thought Keir would be Ryan as well. But he is Zeke, the baking basketball guy. Both of them are going to be pretty good at their parts, I'm excited. It'll probably be pretty funny, they both have an awesome sense of humour. Oh that Ian. I stood with him during the procession and a few other songs before we all changed position again during WMYC. We all had to sway for voice dance and so Ian and I and I think it was Paul or somebody across the room were going all out, but then we got scolded afterward for swaying too much. Anyway that is pretty much the only social connection I have with Ian. Thought I'd just say.

There were a lot of grade 10s who got leads this year actually. Justin, my best guy friend, got the coach. I think it was mostly because he looks so much like Cam, who got Troy (burn on you Justin). My friend Jodie got Sharpay, which I was upset about at first because I wanted Sharpay, but it is alright. She is another big fan of HSM (in fact, I am pretty sure it was her and Julia who suggested it in the first place) and she is a very dramatic person in real life, so I'm happy for her. Another girl got the lead of Taylor, the brainiac.

As for me, I got Martha Cox, the hip hop girl. I was looking at the script and I actually am in a lot of scenes, and I am Taylor's sidekick with attitude. So that makes me a bit of a side-sidekick, considering Taylor is Gabriella's sidekick sort of thing. I think. And I'm spent.
